Update on Petition to Protect Restaurant Workers

We almost reached 100 signatures. Congratulations! 

We must continue to fight. Keep sharing the petition as we will need a significant number of supporters to persuade OSHA, the CDC, states and Congress to make the changes we demand.

I made some minor edits to the petition for clarity, including the following: 

“Before it was corrected, you may have shared this petition and noticed Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) as the recipient of our demands. IWW was included in the recipient section as an organization “with the power to solve [our] problem...” While the union has the power, it represents members. I encourage those of you who can afford the membership fee (starting at $6/month) to join or organize your local IWW.
