Hello all! We said in our email last week that the news cycle moves fast, but we could never have expected the last 24 hours. We aren’t going to jump into the Big Question, but we will say this: Vice President Harris has never shied away from speaking about abortion as a human right, and we hope that sets the tone for the whole party.

It is with this hope that we are continuing our pressure campaign on our national and state reps, as well as Gov. Newsom. You can use ResistBot (info below) or reach out directly by phone or email to your reps.

Currently only about 130 people have sent emails - we know we can do better than that! Any time you think "I'll get around to it later," just remember that Emma Craig from Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust said "You snooze, you lose." They're counting on us to sit by while extremists shape our country. So how can you help? 

If you live in California, please contact your reps and ask them to join us in calling for an independent investigation with public disclosure. You can easily do that using ResistBot. We’ve created two letters (or in the app’s language, “petitions”), one for Congressional representatives and one for Gov. Newsom and California legislature reps. 2.      Select “US Congress” – it should list Senators Padilla & Butler, and your congress person
