Persuade the Preservation Society of Newport County to “preserve” The Breakers, a national historic landmark and symbol of Newport’s gilded age.

“Preserve and restore" the historic landscape of The Breakers including the historic gardens and walkways reflecting the original 1895 design of Bowditch & Bowditch.

Join Friends of Newport Preservation, members of the Vanderbilt family, professionals, preservationists and BOPNA: the neighborhood (501c-3) association, in our effort to relocate the proposed welcome center off the grounds of The Breakers. Moving the center will create a “win” for Newport, its visitors and the Preservation Society.

Names of those who sign this petition may be used publicly, in communications to governmental entities and representatives, and presented to the Trustees of The Preservation Society.
