Today I was late getting to the crosswalk. It was almost 11 am. The first thing I noticed was that my handbills on the crosswalk were missing. Easy fix. Ten minutes later they were all replaced.

Then I noticed that the barrier and temporary signs that were installed at our crosswalk after Jill Tarlov was killed here had been moved off the roadway and asked the vendor near our crosswalk if there had been an event earlier. He said there was a run this morning.

As I moved the moveable signs to their proper position in the roadway, I noticed that the bases had been replaced and they all had wheels. Thank you Kimberly Rancourt at NY DOT! Now CPC had no excuse for not returning them to their proper places after events, like runs.
