Glenelg Stop the Chop Rally Saturday 31 October & Can you donate to another Legal Challenge?

Dear Park Lands Supporter, 

The Park Lands Association is running a series of rallies and other activities in local electorates to pressure local MPs to help Stop the Chop!

Our next Road Show Rally will be at Wrigley Reserve in Glenelg on Saturday October 31 at 1.00pm, that is tomorrow.  The event will feature music from Angela Paul from 12:30pm.
 
Guest speakers for this Saturday include Edwin Kemp Attrill, who initiated the first legal challenge to defend the park lands, along with Janette Milera, local Holdfast Bay Councillor Susan Lonie, and President of the Park Lands Association Mat Monti.

All are welcome but we particularly encourage people from the electorate of Morphett to attend to show their local member Toby Priest  that they want him to help Stop the Chop!  You can find out if you are in his electorate here.

But please be polite and respectful when you contact him or his office, our elected representatives  and their staff, do an important job, and deserve to feel safe and respected.

The South East Corner Residents Association (SECRA) is pursuing legal action to prevent the Adelaide Circuit Redevelopment Project (MotoGP project) from proceeding.

They have received legal advice that there are actions under the Motor Sport Act 1984 (SA) and the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act (Australia) that have a reasonable prospect of success.
