VICTORY! Council on Board for best-practice boardwalks

Thank you all for your support, once again.

Last night the Updated Design was approved by City of Parramatta Councillors. This is without doubt a major achievement to demonstrate clear progress from the initial concept. 

The ecological basis, the elevated boardwalks and wetland (restoration) will become a highly prized natural experience for locals, cyclists and tourist. A heritage sensitive solution to be proud of. 

The extra $3M required for 'environmental' restorations was supported, which shows the distinction between previous 'demolition' approach with revetment walls and the Updated wildlife-friendly Design package.

YAY - the "GREEN-WASH VANITY PROJECT" historic Burramadda River deserves.
