Hi everyone! 

We have reached over 55 thousand signatures in support of keeping ICE activity out of Schools and Hospitals! Thank you all for your support and for sharing this petition!

A major update: Representative Espaillat [D-NY-13] introduced H.R. 1061 Protecting Sensitive Locations Act, which would require ICE to stay at least 1000 ft from sensitive locations (including schools and hospitals). Dr. Pizarro, a clinical psychologist, and I worked with the Latino Medical Student Association this past week to visit Capitol Hill and meet with House of Representatives/Senators staff. We managed to visit over 60 offices, in the hopes of spreading awareness and gaining sponsorship for H.R. 1061. 

Please spread the word on H.R. 1061 Protecting Sensitive Locations Act, and reach out to your senators and representatives to sponsor it!
