Our voices matter, and now is the time to show up strong for Gershwin Park!
The Subcommittee Planning Meeting is Wednesday, April 8th at 6:00 PM at the Cathy Hopper Clairemont Friendship Center, 4425 Bannock Ave. Let’s pack the room and make it clear how much this park means to our community. Bring signs to make an even bigger impact—we want them to SEE and FEEL our presence!
Monday, April 6 at 5:30 PM at Gershwin Park— meet at the benches by the playground— will be a great opportunity to connect with neighbors, discuss the issues, and strategize together. I will try to bring some sign making materials too.
Take Action Now: It’s very important that we email our City Council member, Jen Campbell at jennifercampbell@sandiego.gov and let her know we support keeping Gershwin Park as a community space. Every email makes a difference!
Together, we can save our park, like Cadman was saved from an AT&T cellphone tower last year!
