An update on the process.   The city has filed Walnut Creek Flow Trail Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration.  Please review it on the city's website and comment!                                                                                  https://www.walnut-creek.org/Home/Components/News/News/3349/1851 

There are significant issues with the Initial study.  Comments are needed! The picture attached is the trail bikers would use to access the Flow trail!

We are trying to get the comment period extended to 45 days.  PLEASE write to vickers@walnut-creek.org and say:

Mr. Vickers,
I ask that the public comment period for the Walnut Creek Flow Trail Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration
be extended to 45 days.  A 45-day comment period is standard for controversial projects.  Given the amount of information contained
in the report, a 45-day comment period is appropriate. The new comment period should be Sept 5 - Oct 20.
