Today will be the biggest joint day of industrial action we've ever seen with over 500.000 workers taking part in industrial action. Jordan Rivera a unison rep and organiser for 'NHS worker's say NO' is on the picket line with teachers in support today, she says "Im proud to take solidarity to the picket line of the school next to my hospital today. I support the teachers in their strike completely, as a parent and fellow public sector worker. Over at @Teacherstoolkit they state that its important to note that the #TeacherStrike is NOT just about teacher pay! It's also about:
1. Underfunded schools
2. Squeeze on the school day/hours
3. Teacher workload; one of the highest in the world!
The means, ALL pupils get less quality teaching!
