Thank you so much for supporting our fight to protect music and culture in Leicester Square! You're amazing!!

We have almost reached 130 signatures which is phenomenal <3 , and an incredibly positive start to the campaign.

I've emailed every single music hub in the UK in a call to action, and contacted all major charities to try and get free promotion to the cause whilst it's still recent! If we get enough signatures and get promoted through the right people - we can keep the story in the news and be able to stop the ban.

Westminster City Council said on the phone that their hands are tied regarding the ban due to the court ruling. Amending the court order requires legal grounds to contest it, so it doesn't seem likely that this will happen. This means we need to go through parliament by getting enough signatures to demand a change.

They have banned all music in the entertainment district including Trafalgar square and Leicester Square, setting a worrying precedent for live music and busking regulations in London as well as the countrywide. 

For all the activists on the streets of London: keep doing what you're doing! Spread the word to everyone you know and keep fighting the ban! You're doing fantastic work!

We have to fight together to keep what we love safe, that's how we can win this.
