Feb 15, 2018 — UPDATE: I just sat down with the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent who advised that Armed Security Personnel would actually need to be School Resource Officers. Which are fully trained, active law enforcement members. I have an additional meeting next week to discuss adding these "SRO's" to our school. I thank anyone who has supported this idea and hope to encourage everyone to teach our children right from wrong and how to help our peers in time of need. School resource officers are utilized by districts in and around our area with success and hope we can become a success story too.
