Dear Supporters,
As we reach the end of our first week since launching our petition, I want to take a moment to thank each of you who have stood with us by signing and sharing our call for change. In just four days, 49 compassionate individuals have joined us in demanding a major overhaul of Cafcass to ensure it serves the best interests of our children, free from bias and inefficiency.
While we are making progress, the journey ahead requires more voices, more shares, and more awareness to bring about the change we desperately need. The story I’ve shared about my son and the failures of Cafcass is not unique, but a representation of a systemic issue that has affected countless families across our nation.
Our petition is not just a call for action; it’s a beacon of hope for every child and parent who has been let down by the system. By disbanding Cafcass and reallocating its resources to social services, implementing transparent procedures, and ensuring unbiased evaluations, we can create a safer, fairer, and more just system for our children.
We need your help to spread this message further. Here’s how you can help us make an even bigger impact:
1. Share our petition on your social media platforms with a personal note about why this cause matters. Your voice can inspire others to join us.
2. Talk to friends and family members about our cause and ask them to sign and share. Personal conversations can make a significant difference.
3. Reach out to local media or organizations that might be interested in our story. Publicity can drive tremendous support and awareness.
Every signature is a step closer to protecting our children from the flaws of a failing system. Let’s not let another child suffer due to oversight and bias. We have the power to demand and create change, but only if we stand together.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication. Together, we can make a difference for the safety and well-being of our children.
Warm regards,
Chris Atkinson
