Juuuust wanted to quickly clarify something I mentioned about the AI content tax I’m developing.
The tax is not meant to penalize companies for using human generated data without consent. I’m so used to writing about nonconsensual biometric use that I fumbled on that section. Ah, human error 😅 a little embarrassing, especially on this topic!
To clarify:
The proposed tax is actually aimed at companies that choose to use AI instead of hiring real people even when consent is given.
This is about rebalancing the system by assigning real financial weight to the choice to automate.
The idea is,
If companies are replacing human labor with AI systems that consume enormous amounts of energy and water, they should be taxed in order to offset the environmental damage and resource depletion they’re contributing to.
ok that’s all for now. Thanks again !
