Foreigners from Georgia (ex-USSR state) have managed to convince villagers in Mbuyuni, Tezo Kilifi County, known and named for the Baobab planted there millennia and centuries ago by our ancestors for our benefit, as a Baobab tree takes at least 25 years to fruit, that the tree they call the "Tree of Life" is now useless. The gross lack of education and traditional knowledge and colonization has stripped the coastal region from indigenous knowledge to the point of them selling a precious indigenous species that is of high economic and nutritional value. It MUST stop immediately!!
