Community Spaces: Building on the Idea of Belonging

Thank you to everyone who has signed, shared or taken an interest in my Community Spaces petition.
The aim is to encourage more inclusive community spaces that recognise people's different needs, interests and ways of participating.
A welcoming space doesn't have to look the same for everyone. It might offer quiet areas, enjoyable activities, accessible facilities, flexible participation and staff who understand that people communicate and engage differently.
Importantly, this isn't about separating people into categories. It's about creating opportunities for neurodivergent and neurotypical people, disabled and non-disabled people, to feel equally welcome.
I'm grateful for the support so far. Please continue sharing the petition if you believe community spaces should offer more choice and understanding.
Everyone deserves somewhere they can belong.
