Community Spaces: Belonging Without Pressure

Sometimes, the barriers to feeling included aren't immediately visible.
Imagine being encouraged to socialise, but finding that everyone around you is occupied. Or wanting to join in, but feeling unsure what is expected of you.
These everyday experiences remind us why inclusive Community Spaces matter.
A genuinely welcoming space should offer different ways to participate. Some people enjoy lively conversations and group activities. Others prefer quieter company, time to observe or the freedom to join in when they're ready.
Nobody should have to earn their place by socialising in one particular way.
My petition calls for Community Spaces that welcome everyone — neurodivergent and neurotypical, disabled and non-disabled — with understanding, flexibility and opportunities for connection.
Inclusion isn't just about opening the doors. It's about making people feel comfortable once they're inside.
