Community Spaces — Continuing the Conversation

Thank you to everyone who has taken an interest in my petition calling for more welcoming and accessible community spaces for neurodiverse people.
Having somewhere to meet others, take part in activities and feel included can make a real difference to confidence, wellbeing and social connection.
But inclusion means recognising that people have different needs. A space that works well for one person may be overwhelming or inaccessible for somebody else.
That's why choice matters.
Quiet areas, clear communication, flexible participation, sensory awareness and understanding staff can all help make community opportunities more accessible.
The aim isn't to create a place where everyone has to behave the same way. It's to encourage spaces where different people can genuinely belong.
Please continue supporting and sharing the petition to help keep this conversation going.
Community spaces can change lives when everyone has the opportunity to take part.
