• Gained steady support and continued new signatures

• Seen the issue discussed more widely

• Kept the conversation alive about why accessible, local spaces are essential

Community spaces are not “extras.”

They are where people connect, volunteer, learn, create and feel safe.

For some of us, they are routine.

For others, they are belonging.

For many, they are both.

Progress doesn’t always look dramatic. Sometimes it looks like consistency. Sometimes it looks like simply refusing to let something be forgotten.
