Updates:

House vs. NCAA Settlement is looking more and more shaky by the day!

1) Both the Department of Justice and the Department of Education released memos taking significant issues with House vs. NCAA.  Great article by Sport Illustrated explaining the details here link

2) With a recent incident involving University of Wisconsin athlete Xavier Lucas who was refused access to the transfer portal due to a signed NIL agreement with the school. So he just unenrolled and then enrolled at a new school essentially circumventing the process.  From attorney Mit Winter - "The NCAA has admitted athletes don’t have to enter the transfer portal before transferring. The current portal rules only prohibit coaches from communicating with athletes at other schools unless they are in the portal. And even that may violate antitrust law." link

3) Oklahoma State AD sent email out stating that the University's general revenue will be one of the sources of payment to support the House vs. NCAA required money.  Eg: Students tuition will now be used to pay the athletes if House vs NCAA is approved. link

4) We are gaining huge momentum, the number of signatures is increasing exponentially!  There was a Zoom call on Saturday to discuss how to file an objection. (Deadline is Jan 31st).  Keaton Rice's mom was on and talked about the hugely positive reaction Keaton has received, especially from his coaches.  Thank you Keaton, you are a hero!  Details from the call - link

5) Time is running out.  Send your objections now!
