Homeowners, if you haven’t reached out yet about the Falcon Field issues, the landing fees discussion, the saturation of flight-school training traffic, and the impact on our neighborhoods, please take a few minutes TODAY to email ALL of the City Council members and the Mayor.
This is how the Council hears us most clearly, directly from residents. Emails are recorded, shared with staff and councilmembers, and help build a record of concern going into the February 9 meeting and future discussions.
Here are the official email addresses you can use:
Mayor:
Mark Freeman – mayor@mesaaz.gov
(Mesa’s current mayor, representing the whole city)
City Council Members:
Rich Adams – district1@mesaaz.gov
Dorean Taylor – district2@mesaaz.gov
Francisco Heredia – district3@mesaaz.gov
Jenn Duff – district4@mesaaz.gov
Alicia Goforth – district5@mesaaz.gov
Scott Somers (Vice Mayor) – district6@mesaaz.gov
If you’re unsure which council district you’re in, you can look it up on the City of Mesa website, but please emaiL EVERYONE LISTED above anyway. The more voices they hear, the better.
Tips for your email:
* Briefly describe how the current flight training activity affects you personally
*Explain why you support landing fees as a fair financial tool, users who cause the most wear and use should help cover the costs
* Ask that they consider resident quality of life when discussing airport policy
Your voice matters, and this group’s collective input can make a difference. Let’s show the Council that this is not just one neighborhood’s concern, but a citywide issue worth thoughtful action.
