Re-updated November 2023:

1.      Following the strike out of our claim in April 2022, we filed an application with the European Court of Human Rights in August 2022. They had a hearing and said the UK needs to address this matter so we are back to court in the UK. However, as it stands at the moment, Northumbria NHS Trust have a cost order against me, (£48,000) and have not corrected my son's paperwork, but we can still keep fighting.

2.      I have written an article about our experience for the Special Need Jungle.

3.      Northumbria Trust have started trying to collect on the cost order. They have involved bailiffs! As of yet they won't come to our house because the children have autism.

4. Lastly, gratefully, we have FINALLY found a solicitor and barrister. Wish I had secured them sooner. Both are very reassuring and this leaves me cautiously optimistic that there can be an end in sight.

Many thanks to all of you who have taken the time to support us.

Warm Wishes,

Kate & Family
