Protect Lac Rosière: Say No to Moncler’s Disruption

Courchevel’s town council has granted Moncler—a luxury fashion house from Grenoble—permission to clear the snow-covered road to Lac Rosière starting March 1st. This is to prepare for a fashion show scheduled 15 days later.

Lac Rosière is a sanctuary of tranquility and natural beauty, untouched by ski resort developments. It is a haven for wildlife and a cherished retreat for those seeking peace amidst the chaos of modern life.

Allowing this marketing spectacle to invade Lac Rosière is a deeply offensive move. It prioritizes the interests of just 250 wealthy attendees over the preservation of an irreplaceable natural treasure.

This intrusion is entirely unnecessary. Courchevel is the world’s largest developed ski resort—surely there are alternative locations within the resort where Moncler can host their event without disturbing the one remaining quiet and pristine spot in the area.
