The Stop Abuse Campaign submitted testimony to the New York State Public Safety Hearing this week in support of the Child Victims Act. You can read it below. There is so much good news in that sentence. It means that the Child Victims Act is in Governor Cuomo’s executive budget. It has a good chance of getting passed, and bypassing a few senators who seem committed to destroying it. It means that working together, people who have signed this petition have raised their voices and helped convince our governor to do this. And it means the Stop Abuse Campaign is working tirelessly to protect children from abuse and trauma. We’ve come so far, but we’re not done.
