Yesterday, Palestinian photojournalist Mohammed Zaanoun was awarded by Free Press Unlimited as Most Resilient Journalist of the Year. Zaanoun is now in exile in Egypt. As of October 7 2023 he covered the war in Gaza, but for his own safety and the safety of his family he had to flee.
