Tomorrow (June 29) is a big day for Jingu Gaien, as we have our first day in court. We will present our opening statements, followed by two press conferences. We are hoping for more press coverage.

When the press mentions our petition, there is always a focus on the number of signatures. I made an appeal yesterday on the Japanese side of the petition to help us get over 200,000 and I'm delighted to report we are now at 206,000. I'm hoping for another 4000 by tomorrow morning Japan time.

Tomorrow is also my birthday (yes I am spending my day in court!), so consider it my birthday present! Please share the petition with as many people as possible and help me celebrate my birthday with more signatures!

June 29th is also Mitsui Fudosan's annual shareholder's meeting.  A group of people will be protesting in front of venue where it is being held. Specifically they will be protesting from 9am to 1pm near the Imperial Hotel (close to exit A13) across from Hibiya Park. They plan to stand outside to tell shareholders and the public about opposition to the felling of the magnificent trees in Jingu Gaien. Please come - even for part of the time.
