Today (June 5th) at 1:00 p.m., the Environment and Construction Committee of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly will discuss official requests submitted by many individuals and groups that are asking for a rethink of the Jingu Gaien redevelopment.
Just before the committee meets, a standing demonstration will be held at 12:00 p.m. in the plaza in front of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building.
Natsuka Kusumoto, representative of a group of university students seeking a review of the Jingu Gaien redevelopment project, will lead the demonstration. Please join and make your voice heard.
Message from Natsuka: "I hope many of you will join us! If you can, please write your thoughts on a placard and bring it with you, and/or wear something green!"
The June 5 meeting of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly's Environment and Construction Committee will be broadcast live on the Internet from 1:00 p.m. The petition review will be the last item on the agenda. Let's watch how the petitions and petitions on environmental assessment will be handled. You can access the webcast from here
