Earth Day Tokyo this weekend
Earth Day Tokyo 2023 is this weekend in Yoyogi Park, both Saturday and Sunday https://www.earthday-tokyo.org/earthday2023/yoyogi/
It’s a big festival with a couple hundred tents/booths ranging from organic cotton sales to Patagonia to anti-landmine NPOs. There are food stalls and a main stage that will have scheduled speakers and music. Many people who are interested in the environment will gather there. Let’s go there and talk to them about Jingu Gaien.
Chris Kozak, a volunteer with our team, also volunteers with Amnesty International, and we can meet at their booth. It should be easy to spot as it will be bright yellow. Chris plans to be there at 10 am, and can also be reached by Facebook messenger.
We can take this opportunity to spread the word, and get more volunteers.
Things to bring: hat, water, snack/lunch, Jingu Gaien flyers, charged phone, some cash, good shoes, umbrella (to drive away the rain), clipboard, pen, and paper for sign-ups, meishi.
Wear your Save Jingu Gaien t-shirt if you have one.
See you there!
