It's a great honor to receive this award. Thank you to everyone who signed this petition and the staff at Change.org.

We are continuing to work hard to raise awareness about the many problematic aspects of the Jingu Gaien redevelopment project and to get the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and developers to listen to the concerns of the public.

Jingu Gaien is not the only park threatened by redevelopment plans that cut down trees and prioritize commercial facilities. I'm hoping that this petition can be an opportunity to reconsider the way development should be carried out.
