🌿 A Huge Thank You from the SS19 Green Belt Action Group! 🌿

First of all, a massive thank you for all your incredible support so far sharing petitions and posts, attending meetings, and speaking with councillors. We’re truly grateful for every single effort 💚

We hate to ask when you’ve already done so much, but we’ve now set up a GoFundMe to help cover some of the group’s ongoing costs. So far, everything including the 2,500 flyers that were designed, printed, and delivered has been paid for out of our own pockets (these were all created and distributed by the group, not the council).

Your donations will help us:
🪧 Print and display banners around S12 to raise awareness of SS19, the Aerodrome, and the Local Plan (let us know if you could host one!)
🖨️ Cover any further printing costs for future consultations or community updates
⚖️ Prepare for any potential legal advice or representation (hopefully we won’t need it, but we want to be ready).

If we don’t end up using all the funds, the remainder will be donated to a local S12-based charity or cause, chosen by group vote.

To reassure everyone we have a community bank account, a group constitution, and multiple signatories, so everything is completely above board ✅

We know times are tough and there are so many worthy causes out there, but if you’re able to contribute even a small amount it would make a real difference.
