PLANS FOR AFFORDABLE HOMES AND SPORTS FACILITIES NEXT TO SHEFFIELD SCHOOL REJECTED

A bid to build 33 affordable homes and improve sports and community spaces next to Rainbow Forge Primary School in Hackenthorpe has been refused by Sheffield planning officers.

The scheme, proposed for land off Beighton Road, was rejected over concerns about the loss of playing fields, inadequate replacement facilities, and lack of key traffic data, including parking and junction capacity.
