My freedom is something I've worked hard for serving my country, and it pains me to see it being threatened. Recently, I've observed that Collective Shout, an advocacy group advocating against mature video games, has been applying pressure on payment processors to influence gaming clients. This intervention can set a dangerous precedent by allowing external groups to dictate what games adults can enjoy. 

Gaming is a thriving industry with millions of adult participants who deserve the autonomy to select what they wish to play without external interference. According to the Entertainment Software Association, there are over 2.5 billion gamers worldwide, a significant portion of whom are adults making informed decisions about their entertainment choices.

The actions of Collective Shout are infringing on our freedoms by restricting options available to gamers through tactics that pressure financial institutions to act against gaming platforms. This manipulative pressure tactic should not dictate the choices available to adult gamers who can make their own decisions responsibly.

Stopping such interventions is essential if we want to maintain the integrity and freedom within the gaming community. Instead of bowing to external pressures, advocates could work on raising awareness and education, assisting parents in making informed choices for younger gamers, rather than imposing broad restrictions on adult players.

I urge everyone who enjoys gaming or supports the freedom of adults to choose their own entertainment to stand against these overreaching efforts. Our collective action can send a clear message that coercing companies into limiting gaming freedom is unacceptable.
