Our Deepest Appreciation
Dear All,
Thank you so much for signing our Change.org petition to save our play -- with your help, we managed to get over 1000 signatures in only three days, a monumental achievement. It was far more than we expected, and a powerful signal to the arts community that censorship has no place in the theatre. For that alone, we are deeply grateful.
Because of the outpouring of support from social media, the press, members of the Fringe/arts communities, and -- most importantly -- all of you, we found ourselves in the amazing position of both saving our show from cancellation and transferring to a new venue! TERF will now be presented in the Assembly Rooms Ballroom, a 350-seat theatre and one of the preeminent Fringe venues. We'd like to extend our deep appreciation to Assembly for taking on this important project, and are more excited than ever to present the work in a space that truly values creative freedom.
And so we move forward, stronger and more confident than ever in the importance of this project. Your continued support, either through one of the links below or simply sending good vibes from afar, will surely sustain us in the weeks to come. We hope to see you in Edinburgh!
