Last week, Senate Bill 632, titled "Taking of Bears," passed the final Senate floor vote. Amendments were incorporated into the bill to align it with the provisions of HB 87, also known as "Taking of Bears." Consequently, the bill has been remitted to the House side for a conclusive vote. Given the prevailing voting trends, it is anticipated that a majority of our legislators will lend their support to the bill's passage. Thus, it is imperative that we proactively reach out to Governor DeSantis prior to the vote and urge him to exercise his veto power over HB 87/SB 632, collectively known as the "Taking of Bears" legislation.
