We’ve seen amazing support for the Fit Parents’ Rights Act, and we want to make something very clear:

This movement is not anti-grandparent. We value the role of loving grandparents in families and recognize how important they can be in a child’s life.

But we are pro-parent—pro the rights of fit, loving parents to make decisions about their children’s relationships without fear of being taken to court.

When a parent is fit and actively raising their child, their judgment must be respected. If a grandparent has a healthy, cooperative relationship with the parent, there’s no need for legal battles. It’s only when that relationship breaks down that these situations turn harmful—and courts should not override fit parents’ choices except in cases of proven unfitness.

This Act is about protecting families, reducing conflict, and keeping children out of unnecessary legal fights.

Thank you for standing with us to restore parental rights and family peace.
