Have you signed up for Nature Nova Scotia's email list yet? If not, you're missing out on these updates for the Species At Risk featured in the Bancroft vs Lands & Forestry judicial review!

Thanks to the tireless work of active citizens like you, last fall, the province finally released the 11 years-overdue Recovery Plan for the Ram’s Head Lady Slipper in Nova Scotia. You can read our summary of the new plan and its implications for Lady Slipper conservation on our website. Then, in February, the province released the 6 years-overdue Recovery Plan for the Wood Turtle. Check it out!

These are small steps on the road to conservation for Nova Scotia's Species At Risk, but they wouldn't be possible without you. Help us keep the momentum going!

We are eagerly awaiting an update from the province on the Recovery Plan and identification of Core Habitat for the Endangered Mainland Moose, apparently coming in the next couple weeks. Make sure you're following along to hear the news!
