Thank you all for your support, not yet a week since the petition went live and we're nearly at 500 signatures.
It's great to see so many people getting behind the protection of the green belt, and showing the strength of feelings towards any proposed development along the northern boundary.
There are a couple of asks, where we need your help. There is no need to have any prior/existing knowledge.
1) we have a long list of Actions that we are working through, as part of building up a strong objection for when the expected planning application is made. But it's a big list and we need help.
2) One specific ask, on highways, is to start building up a corpus of evidence on
- volumes,
- poor junction sight lines,
- vehicles blocking pavements / parking on junctions
- pinch points
Throughout different days. We have identified a number of locations which are of interest, as they act as key access points into, and out of, Dronfield and Dronfield Woodhouse.
A file has been setup where people can record, by time slot and location, when they are able to provide photographic/video evidence.
