While things may seem quiet, we cannot become complacent. The board majority must understand that Dr. Jimenez has the full support of not only district staff, but also parents and the entire community.

Under his leadership, our district has made tremendous progress. Any disruption at this point will not serve our students—it will only serve bruised egos and personal vendettas.

We also recognize the fear of retaliation that many staff members feel under this board majority. Let them know that they are not alone. If they want to show their support but are worried about backlash, please know that they can sign this petition anonymously—their name does not have to be visible.

It’s time to put an end to these retaliatory efforts and allow Dr. Jimenez to continue the critical work of leading our district forward.
