Ohio legislation has updated Section 4723.89! Any doula certifying with Ohio Board of Nursing will be considered "State of Ohio Certified Doula"! This is a win because we no longer will be penalized for using the term Certified Doula! Thank you Ohio Legislation! This legislation is effective April 9th, 2025! Although we didn't get the requirement for DEI moved as optional we will count this as a win.
