Hi, Everyone, who has supported us on this journey! 

The Del Mar Horsepark is starting off a full remodel on the right foot, according to our horses who are overseeing construction :) The lease holder, HITS LLC is replacing THE FOOTING now--every ring! 

HITS has a lot of experience with building show facilities in Saugerties, NY, Ocala, FL, Lamplight, IL, etc., and listens to their human customers, all of whom want to keep their horses safe. Our horses agree--it's all about staying safe with modern rings and warm-up arenas. 

Footing was the number one item for immediate upgrade on our Friends of Del Mar Horsepark survey of 389 local horse show participants.  

As the engineering water remediation plans go through the state processes for approval, which takes a while, HITS is fixing all of the Horsepark rings with new fencing and replacing all the footing, except the Grand Prix grass jumping field.

Then they'll remodel the stalls, trim trees that haven't been pruned in over 10 years,and return this beautiful facility to a world-class public horse show and compatible events showcase. In addition, an accredited, well-respected equine therapy group for veterans and first responders will stable at Del Mar Horsepark, where the mild climate allows year-round treatments. 

We will update you as construction progresses. We should have an artist's rendering of the HITS vision by the end of November, 2022.
