Time is running out. We need Albany to pass Kyra’s Law in the coming weeks. New York’s legislative session ends in two months.  
 
Kyra should have turned 7-years-old on Sunday. Will you do something simple for Kyra? Will you sign Kyra’s birthday 7th card?
 
We are taking Kyra’s birthday card with your signatures and messages to the New York State Assembly and Senate. Albany listens when people speak. Let’s show Albany how much we love Kyra!

Leading up to Kyra’s birthday, tears have been flowing. I miss Kyra so much. I vidily remember the day she was born. I feel in love with her the very first time I saw her and held her in my arms. Kyra and I got to celebrate her first and second birthdays together. When she turned 2, she loved singing the “Happy Birthday” song, and blowing out the candles. In fact, for the next month, every night after dinner, we lit a birthday candle, sang, and Kyra would blow it out.
 
Now, each year, instead of celebrating Kyra's birthday together, I put flowers by her grave.
 
Every day I fight for your children. What happened to Kyra can happen to someone you know and love unless legislative changes are made. We need your voice to pass Kyra’s Law! Will you sing Kyra’s card?
