Today I want to share an important update with everyone who has supported our petition and our family.
The court has denied my request for an emergency guardianship for my grandchildren. This decision is heartbreaking for our family. The judge stated that the legal requirements for an emergency order were not met and that the information presented was not considered sufficient evidence for the court to take immediate action.
As a grandmother, hearing this was incredibly painful. My intention has always been to protect my grandchildren and make sure their safety and well-being are taken seriously.
Even though this decision closes one legal path for now, our fight is not over.
What we are experiencing shows how difficult it can be for families who are trying to protect children through the legal system. Many grandparents, relatives, and concerned family members face the same barriers when they try to step in to help children they believe are in danger.
Because of this, our mission is growing beyond just our personal case.
We will continue working to raise awareness and advocate for better protections for children and families through initiatives like Auron Law and Auron Foundation. Our goal is to support families who are trying to protect children and to work toward changes that ensure children's safety is always the priority.
My grandchildren remain in my heart every single day.
And for them and for every child who needs someone to stand up for them we will continue this fight.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us, shared our story, and believed that children deserve to be protected.
We will not stop. Gaby, Auron grandmother
