In our history, there have been many shameful times when our laws have supported injustices.

Child labor to the benefit of industrialists, slavery to benefit plantation owners, the taking of Native Ameican children to benefit European settlers that wanted land and the suppression of woman's rights to benefit their husbands.

In 1997, Bill Clinton passed the Adoption Safe Family Act (ASFA) and since then it has made the foster/adoption industry a booming business. Children were and still are today, being taken away from their parents for unconstitutional reasons and given to non-related strangers, in order for the federal funding to flow. And 80% of all sex-trafficked children come from this same system.

Jeffrey Epstein was a child trafficker. He was also a friend to Bill Clinton.

Our five children were taken from their mother because she was a victim of abuse and violence by the children's father. Despite the abuse, she tried to keep her family united.

A Home Study was conducted for me as the children's grandmother, to obtain custody, by Catholic Charities Hawaii. The reports consist of lies and false accusations, and which were consider "failed" from the Department of Children and Families in Key West, Florida. Catholic Charities Hawaii will not be accountable for these wrongdoings.

While in custody, three of the children were classified as "special needs" which gave more federal funding to the foster care providers. One of the children were drugged, with a variety of psychotropic drugs (the same drugs taken by 8 of the mass shooters) because she wanted to come home. They accused her of having ADHD, which she did not have. The twin boys were classified as autistic.

Our children were beautiful, healthy, strong children before being taken by this agency in Key West, Florida. When I traveled to Florida to visit the children and attempt to obtain custody, I was ignored.

This is how the foster/adoption industry works!

This was written by the social worker from Key West on May 5, 2017.

"These children have experienced a significant amount of trauma, loss, and neglect. The twins have an autism diagnosis and require ABA therapy and speech therapy. Malaea, the oldest girl, has significant behavior concerns, aggression towards herself and others, and needs consistent redirection and monitoring. We want to make sure that wherever these children are placed that it is safe, services can be put into place, their emotional and physical needs are being met, and that is will be a forever home for these children. The children are ready for a forever home and wanting to be adopted.”

It is time for the ASFA to be reviewed, reformed or totally abolished ASFA and replaced with a Family First law. Maybe Hawaii can be the first to brake up this monopoly of child stealing for profit, “Kids for Cash!” This should start with bringing home our children to Hawaii.

The children were separated and adopted to distant relatives of the abusive and registered sex offender father. The children did not know these people and now the father gets to freely visit them. Is this giving them a safe home?

These children, Christopher, Malaea, Naomi, Isaiah and Maui are our Ohana (family). They are a part of our heart. I will never give up the fight to bring our children home!
