We want to express our gratitude to everyone who has signed and supported this petition. Your support has brought great joy and motivation to the community, and your backing has been inspiring!
We can finally share with you that the long-awaited opportunity to speak directly to City Council has finally arrived. The meeting will take place during the Committee of the Whole meeting, which involves all members of the City Council, on Monday, February 5th, 2024.
We want to spread the word and encourage all of you who want to voice your frustrations and advocacy against this dangerous proposal to register to delegate to Council Members directly. You can send your notes digitally by email for those who may be unable to attend or can register to speak either in person or remotely.
To register, simply fill out the link below and follow the instructions (Agenda Item 11.1 & 11.2 or Report Numbers (EICS-06-24) & (RCC-01-23)). Numerous community members have already initiated their registrations and speaking presentations regarding the matter. Our aim is to fill the hall with documented objections to the proposed plan and ensure that the City Council takes notice to Protect Bateman Track and Field and Stop the Parking Lot Conversion!
