RAEN has now sent a letter to Mark Butler MP & Jenny McAllister to request they set an urgent meeting with representatives of a national coalition of DPRO's, advocates, autistic folk and disability organisations to:

1. Present the community’s concerns and evidence regarding Thriving Kids and Inklings.

2. Discuss alternative approaches to reform that would ensure no child is made worse off.

3. Explore opportunities for meaningful co-design with Autistic people, families, and representative organisations.

Thankyou to all of you in the community who signed the petition and shared comments on the Change.org petition page. Your signatures and comments have been attached as evidence of the communities alarm at Minister Butler's announced changes.

We look forward to sharing the outcome of this letter and sitting down with Minister Butler to start a process of GENUINE consultation.
