10,000 voice strong. We are so proud of this community. So amazed by the way adversity can link us together and get us fighting. We shouldn't have to be here but we are and we will not be silenced. Our disability community is not "winnable". Blindsiding us with surprise announcements without consultation will not work. 

In less than a week we have flooded media, socials and conversation with our words. 

The Regional Autistic Engagement Network will be submitting this petition to to Mark Butler MP at the end of the week. 

We will be asking for a meeting. Where we will make the demands outlined in this petition. 

Support systems for disabled folk must be formed and implemented with genuine consultation, genuine engagment with advocates, DPROs and community. There should be no surprises. There should be no unclear details. 

Let's work together and get this petition to 15,000 before we write to Minister Butler.
