🎉 500 SUPPORTERS – THANK YOU! 🎉
What an incredible milestone! 😍

In just a short time, 500 people have signed our petition to protect and revitalise Historic High Town Road. That's 500 people who believe this important part of Luton deserves to be protected, celebrated and invested in.

To everyone who has signed, shared, commented and encouraged others to get involved – thank you. Every signature strengthens our case and shows that this is not just one person's concern, but something our community genuinely cares about.

Let's keep the momentum going!
Please continue to:

✅ Share the petition with friends, family and neighbours.
✅ Post it on social media and local community groups.
✅ Talk to local businesses and residents who use High Town Road.
✅ Encourage anyone who hasn't signed yet to add their name.

The more support we can demonstrate, the stronger our message becomes.

The next important step
The independent Chair of the Central Luton Pride in Place Neighbourhood Board is currently being appointed and the wider Board is now being formed. This Board will play a key role in helping decide how millions of pounds are invested across Central Luton over the coming years.

We hope those entrusted with this responsibility will recognise the importance of Historic High Town Road and ensure that investment is directed towards preserving and revitalising this unique historic gateway into our town.

We also call on Luton Council to actively pursue every available source of external funding for High Town Road. This should include applications to the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Historic England, both of which support the regeneration and protection of historic high streets and heritage assets. Historic High Town Road has already been recognised as one of Historic England's High Streets at Risk, making it well placed to benefit from these funding opportunities if the Council chooses to pursue them.

Together, we have already achieved something remarkable.

500 signatures is a fantastic milestone—but let's not stop there. Our next goal is 1,000 signatures, sending an even stronger message that the people of Luton want Historic High Town Road protected and revitalised for future generations.

Thank you once again for your incredible support.

Please keep sharing the petition—every signature counts, and together we can make a real difference.
