The men involved in this program are actively pursuing rehabilitation, accountability, personal growth, and positive change. We are asking for your help encouraging the Department of Correction to officially recognize and support this effort as a DOC Offender Accountability Treatment Program, similar to the Tier 4 program at Carl Robinson.

My name is [YOUR NAME] and I am writing to you on behalf of my incarcerated loved one in the H.O.N.O.R Program at Cheshire Correctional Institution. Many family members of incarcerated loved ones in the H.O.N.O.R Program, who have signed and are in support of the petition attached to this email (link at bottom), are wondering what actions, if any, you have taken to assist our incarcerated loved ones in achieving the goals laid out in this petition.

I am personally asking you to please show support for the rehabilitative efforts of the men in the H.O.N.O.R Program by reaching out to the DOC Commissioner and Cheshire Correctional Institution Warden and encouraging them to make this program an official DOC Offender Accountability Treatment Program similar to the Tier 4 program at Carl Robinson. This would permit the men in the H.O.N.O.R Program to have access to the resources, time, spaces, and most importantly, the treatment counselors needed to pursue their rehabilitation and personal development without resistance from facility employees.
