Dear friends,

I hope you are all doing well!

To our dismay, we have received word that the Selectmen are moving forward with the planning process to build at 190 Sharon Turnpike, despite all of our letters and concerns. This is after they just told us that they were going to build behind the existing firehouse.

If you have a chance, we need immediate help with the following action items:

1. Attend the BOS meeting tonight at 5pm and make a comment that you would like the selectmen to withdraw their application to P&Z and protect 190 as open space.

2. Write a letter to BOS reflecting the same.

3. Attend the Inland wetlands meeting Thursday night at 7:30 AND write letters prior, requesting that they do not simply transfer their prior permit and that it is imperative that they hold a public hearing.

4. Please share this information with anyone who may be of assistance in this important matter.

Thank you for your time and for working to protect our beautiful open spaces!

Todd Carusillo <1stselectman@goshenct.gov>; Dexter Kinsella <dkinsella@goshenct.gov>; Scott Olson <solson@goshenct.gov>

Sincerely,
Marissa
