Dear friends,
After 5 months of tender loving care, Justice is finally up for adoption! All 4,189 members of Animal Cruelty Legislation Advocates Canada would like to sincerely thank the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society and others who have cared for Justice, as well as the tens of thousands of you who have signed the petition, sent well-wishes, and cared about Justice from afar. One of the administrators of the Facebook group "Justice For 'JUSTICE'" sends the following message:
"The journey for Justice could not have been done without an entire team effort -- From Dean Cresswell, his dogs--Bandit & Phoenix--finding him; WECHS; Windsor Police; the Prosecutor & Judge for the case; local media outlets; all members of Justice for "JUSTICE" group as well as the many outside of this group who helped to bring awareness through "Taking Action, Sharing & Caring". The amount of support was absolutely pawsome and I personally am truly proud and honoured to be among so many who helped get #justiceforJUSTICE. We'll be together to celebrate when he gets his forever home once announced. There are so many animals out there that need us to be their voice, and so many who are also looking for a forever home in our local shelters and rescues. So please don't stop what you all are doing for our four-legged neighbours within our communities. Thank-you from the bottom of my heart!" Wishing Justice the greatest furever home ever, and may the rest of his life be filled with nothing but fun, love, and belly rubs.
